Use the UP/DOWN or LEFT/RIGHT keys on the remote to modify settings or just press OK to "schedule recording". (Advanced features include start early/end late, frequency, etc.)

- Q: How do I verify, edit, or delete a scheduled recording?

- Q: Why won't my VCR turn on?
Answer: There are several possibilities:
The VCR is incompatible.
The VCR does not have remote power capability. The user must leave the VCR ON for recording.
An incorrect or no VCR brand code was selected during the TV Guide On Screen initial set-up. To correct this, press the GUIDE key on the remote, highlight LISTINGS, then use the RIGHT/LEFT arrow keys to highlight SETUP. Use the DOWN arrow key to highlight "Change system settings," then press ENTER. Follow the on-screen prompts to select the correct VCR information.
The VCR record timer is engaged. The user must disengage timer.

- Q: My VCR doesn't change channels or it changes to the wrong channel. What's wrong?
Answer: There are several possibilities:
A cable/satellite box code was entered when no cable/satellite box is connected. The user must re-do initial set-up.
The VCR channels are not programmed into VCR memory. Refer to your VCR's owner's manual for procedures.
The VCR's "CATV" mode was set incorrectly (For problems with channels 14 and above, refer to your VCR's owner's manual).
You have connected to an electronic preset VCR, which is incompatible unless used in conjunction with a cable/satellite box. This type of VCR usually has a maximum tuner capacity of 12 to 16 channels, and you must manually program the channels into the VCR memory. The VCR must be left on the channel to be recorded.
- Q: Why didnt my show record?

The VCR and/or cable/satellite box is hooked up incorrectly. Refer to the VCR's owner's manual or contact your service provider for proper wiring procedure.
The cable/satellite box was left OFF. You should always leave the cable/satellite box ON and the VCR OFF.
